Newegg just posted that. Had it been on their yesterday, I would have jumped on it.
Yeah, I agree. Eventually it will get better. SSDs are still relatively new in the consumer market.

Bad RAM is one of the first things I check when encountering BSODs. That is if I have no clue how the BSOD happened in the first place.

It's also one of the the most common components that fail too.

Wouldn't happen if a new drive was put in?

New drive/new os install might patch the issue. If it bsod again. pull the ram and swap out one piece one by one.

I've also seen a lot of BSOD's from RAM that is not fully seated. Make sure it is ALL the way in.

I'm assuming it wasn't the RAM this time as I couldn't access it through my other computer nor hooking it up and not using it as a boot drive. Couldn't get it recognized no matter how I had it configured.

Well, just got the BSOD from this drive so later in the morning I'll be taking the ram out and putting in one by one. Time to sleep now as Skyrim and alcohol have just zapped the last 4.5 hours of my life.

Easy way to check ram is download a Ubuntu live iso from Homepage | Ubuntu and boot your computer off of it and select memory check. You will see a blue screen with white text, just leave it alone for a few hours and come back. If you see errors then you have a bad stick of ram. If you have no errors then it is something else

Just got the email from Corsair that my item is being returned. No information whatsoever on what was wrong, if they're shipping the same one back, nothing. So, I emailed Corsair to see if I can get some information on the SSD i.e. if its a new one, what was wrong with the old one, etc.

The pryo just crashed. It didnt have the latest firmware update. Since I wasn't having problems, I wasn't going to do it. Fingers are crossed that I can at least ... Recover one folder.
