Ok, google has failed me, so I thought I'd ask. Tried to access some old photos, and the files have become corrupted and disappeared. These are on a HD I have in a RAID 1 array. Is there some way to access the mirrored array to see if the files are still intact on that HD? --------------------------- You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline. It helps if you have some kind of a football team, or some nuclear weapons, but at the very least you need a beer. ~Frank Zappa |

You have an active RAID1 and the hard drive has not gone bad, but files are corrupt? Well, you can just unplug the hard drive that has the bad files and boot of the other one. But I would think if you have a bad file on one, it would/should have mirrored to the other one as well. Thus is RAID, but I could be wrong. --------------------------- man, it feels good to be a gangster |

Nope, I lied. Checked the wrong folder - guess the files are gone for good. --------------------------- You can't be a real country unless you have a beer and an airline.
