What version....did you get 5 yet...do that first

To fix,

press shift and launch firefox.
Clear plug-ins and reset all to default.

I have the same problemos too - and is friggen annoying - I have 5 and reloaded my plug ins and still same shi&7 different toilet...

and I loathe, l.o.a.t.h.e the big blue 'E'...

But, it has been only going on for a couple weeks now. Wasn't an issue before, ever and no new plug ins either.

I don't surf the net except to do facebook and check out my frequented daily photography sites.

I don't download anything weird either. Nor do I click on linkies that I don't know where they are going to. (not that this matters or has anything to do with firefox)

Just sayin -

and, no porn here.. If I want that, I just need to listen for the neighbors and pray at the same time my bedroom ceiling doesnt cave in. Still, just sayin'...

I use FF at work and it's been stable for me. I try not to use it at home as much - at the risk of setting off a browser war, I started using Chrome some time ago and it's treated me well.

Clear Firefox's history and cashes to solve most of its problems. To do this, in the Menu Bar select Tools, Clear Recent History to get the pop-up window. From the drop-down list for Time Range to Clear, select Everything. Restart Firefox and it should be much more stable.

I'm using FF 6.0.2, the latest version, with no problems, and I have some tweaks installed.
We did have some issues with sites not opening. Uninstalling and re-installing Adobe Flash helped that. It has some problems that the latest version seems to help.

That isn't the latest now :)

I just installed V7.0. Thanks.
FF usually lets me know when it needs to update. Maybe a setting has changed.
