newly built PC OS install - 09-03-2011, 05:36 PM

I'm building a new PC this weekend, and once I'm done I need to install the OS. I have an Action Pack subscription, so I can download a disk image of Win 7.

Can someone explain to me how to get the disk image to the new PC?
Do I have to burn a DVD, and if so, what's the easiest way to do that?

Thanks!

There are plenty of tools that allow you to create a usb installation disk. I would just google for instructions... I have a x86 and 64bit installation usb thumb drives.. all you would need is a 4gb thumb/flash drive.

Here is one for example..
How To Boot And Install Windows 7 From USB Flash Drive

If you need an image, I can burn you one and mail the disk to you. just let me know the flavor your need. (you supply the key)

I personally use win7 to burn ISO's.

Ron, I might take you up on it.

I have a reseller Action Pack subscripion, and lots of keys.

Will be building it this weekend, along with redoing the bedroom/office. Can't find the $%&^
bolts to assemble the iron bed frame. LOL

Burning the disc would be the best and easiest option, almost everything downloaded from Microsoft Technet, MSDN, Partner Network, and Action pack are .iso files. So download and just burn to a disc. Make sure to write down they for you O/S.
