LOL.. hell I don't know... I'm on OSX 10.6.8 which is Snow Leopard I guess. But is that Leopard or is it something different. I have to update to 10.7 to use iCloud... Idk... I love my Mac but their operating system names make no sense to me.

10.3.x is Kitten
10.4.x is Tiger
10.5.x is Leopard
10.6.x is Snow Leopard
10.7.x is Lion

Lion has hosed many macs and IMO isn't a functional upgrade, it is more of an eye candy upgrade. New screen savers etc. I did a simple upgrade (this time on an actual mac pro) and the node corrupted. I had to blow away the OS and totally reload. What a pain in the ass.

It seem to be with the install, I loaded it on my hackintosh many times over with no problems, attempted on a new macbook pro and the nodes went corrupt. All hell broke loose.

Until Quicken works with Lion I'm not upgrading. Also worried about CS3. Yes, I'm still on CS3.

No issues with Lion on my end. i did do a "clean install" (MacLife and MacWorld have instructions on how to download and create an installation flash drive). Did a clean install mostly out of habit from my Windows days.

Bill - CS3 does work with Lion. There are some issues, but it works. CS2 doesn't as it's a PowerPC app (needs Rosetta to run under Snow Leopard)

Well... That's what I was afraid of. FWIW- there were a lot of people complaining about the Snow Leopard upgrade back when it came out but Lion sounds like it may have issues... What's after Lion I wonder?

I like the upgrade to Lion ... it has some cool features. But, I don't like iCloud ... it crashed my iPad and iPhoto on my Mac.
