Don't think it is possible since it is windows running the color profile and not the cards. Maybe if you run 2 different cards.

Does NVIDIA support (LUT) Look Up Tables for display calibration purposes?

i'm thinking it may be possible (just not on the card as Rich mentioned)... when color calibrating dual monitors, doesn't it apply separate color profiles specific to that monitor? i don't think it applies the same color profile to both. i may be completely off here. just a thought. i know some calibration units are specifically for dual monitors.

i wonder how the pantone heuy pro is doing it? from their site,

"- Multiple monitor calibration increases color fidelity from monitor-to-monitor-to-print.

Achieve color fidelity between all displays on your system with multiple monitor calibration. Through multiple monitor calibration, you ensure accurate onscreen representation on all of your displays."

I'm guessing there is fine print on needing two video cards. will check later.

I'm not sure about this either, but i remember at one time Photoshop would only recognize the calibration for one monitor, so thats some more food for thought

I use 2 monitors one srgb the other adobe gamut support, driving them with an nvidia 480 card. Calibrated with Spyder 3. The Spyder software allows you to color match 2 monitors and 2 LUTs are loaded. I get a very close match but cannot get an exact match between the 2 but my guess it is to do with the different technologies. When windows boots I get a message saying that the color profiles are loaded into the video card and both Photoshop and Lightroom seem happy

Well I need to eat crow on this one.

After doing some further reading on the Datacolor site they claim that Windows 7 will only support 1 look-up table per video card. I guess my near color match with my 2 monitors was more fortuitous then technologically enabled.

So the choice becomes use 2 video cards (NOT SLI) and let each be color managed or use 1 video card and color correct 1 monitor (used for all color adjustments and proofing) and the other monitor for application management. The question then beckons if you have 2 identical monitors would their manufacturing tolerances and properties be close enough to be able to present good color management from single calibration.

Rob, sorry if I steered you wrong.
