Exclamation Network setup - 02-25-2007, 11:12 PM

I just put in a second computer and have them hardwire linked through a router. I would like to be able to access either computer from the other. Anyone know an easy way to do this??? If you want , we can do this over chat online.

Thanks ,

Anthony

Anythony, what operating system are you running on the computers? Also, are you talking about accessing files or actually connecting to the remote computer so that it appears as if you are working on the remote system?

one has xp and the other is Vista, and all I really want is to access file, just as if it were simply another harddrive on the system... that and share a printer

Make them both members of the same workgroup, then just share the files and printers. You should be able to browse for them in network neighborhood.
