A while back a friend told me about this product

I bought it and it really helped my monitor settings. Does anyone else use it and have an opinion?

it works and does exactly what it says it does. There are more expensive ones with more options for fine tuning. This models software is similar to using the auto feature on your camera. It runs and that's it. More expensive models have more options that can be fine tuned by the user. If you check out the Datacolor website (manufacturer of the Spyder) they'll show you many of the differences between this model and their higher end models.
