New Discount? / New to forum

I am glad I found TPF, although it looks like I found it a month too late. After just deciding to start my own photography business last week and needing to get a new website up, I am disappointed to have missed the two different CMD discounts. Any chance of a New Year special??? (hint... hint...???)

Hi Michael,

Photography has been a passion of mine since I got my first Minolta X700 for high school graduation. That's been a few years ago. I was going to start a business for my retirement years, although I realized that I have the energy now to start and build it to be a full time business by the time I retire. I'm sure you, like many finally got pushed over the edge when enough people say to you... "why are you not charging for your work... it's too good to give away for free".

Being a very hard self critic, I am launching in January to see how this goes. Website, business cards, etc to follow in the coming weeks.
