I sent a request into tech support last week via your online support form. It's been 5 days and I have not had any response and my site problem still exists. I just sent another request in today. However, since this is costing me customer orders, I thought I'd post it here too in case there was a problem with the T/S form.
My proofing galleries are returning BLANK pages to the customer on the order confirmation screen (after they hit EMAIL). I am receiving a BLANK email with the order. I finally discovered that if I "VIEW SOURCE" within OUTLOOK I can see the order embedded in HTML, but the message itself shows up blank.
I have been receiving emails from my customers concerned about orders being processed.
I hope someone can help me soon.

Andrew, I just checked out your [Clients Proofs] link and all the galleries have a no-hotlink thumb.
Get ready for the tech-support remedial questions: Have you made any changes to your source code recently?
I hope you get this fixed soon.

Those Client Proofs are a different website (Exposure Manager). Actually Older proofs.. Interesting about the "No Hotlink Thumb".. I hadn't seen that.
The ones I have hosted with CMD are individual links not on my main site. Those are the ones I am having issue with.

Hey Andrew
I will look into your issue first thing in the morning. Someone should be contacting you tomorrow with a solution to your problem or at least be able to give you an eta on a fix.
Thank you for your patience.

I am trying to figure out how to start a thread. Can anyone help me? How do you
create a Password Page on your website and specify a password for your viewers. I go to it, and all I can do is fill out a text field, and nothing comes up in the field when I view my site. I am just trying to make a 1 click button, so people can go to their particular proofing gallery!

Hi PGH Photographer,
I can answer your question....If you want to assign a password to a specific proofing gallery please follow these 2 steps:
1) Click into the Edit Mode of the Proofing Gallery you want to password protect.
2) Click the button titled "Gallery Info" then you'll see the password field halfway down the page. Specify your password and save your changes.
From here you'll have 2 choices on how to share your proofing gallery:
1) By simply sharing the "Gallery Link" also found on the "Gallery Info" page.
2) If you'd like to create a "Password" page to be displayed within your CMD website, then create a New Page and choose the page type "Password" when creating your page. This will create a page with a password input field that accepts your viewers passwords. You can finally add your own text and photo to design this page.
I hope this helps! Let us know if you need further assistance!

I was told to do this by tech support, but there is no instructions on how to follow; 2) If you'd like to create a "Password" page to be displayed within your CMD website, then create a New Page and choose the page type "Password" when creating your page. This will create a page with a password input field that accepts your viewers passwords. You can finally add your own text and photo to design this page
This is what is confusing to me. I go to the password page and get totally lost on actually what the heck I am doing creating a password page. How do I actually create a functioning page? I tried, and it comes up blank. All I get is a text field to work with.
Also, How long do we have to wait for a function that I can create event packages? I want to get away from having to use Fototime for this.

Ok so it looks like everything is working fine. When you create the password page, you only get one text field on the page.
Now it's up to you to add your own instructional text to that page for your viewers to read and also add a photo to make the page look nice and you'll be finished.
Also, to answer your question, we're going to release some new features for the Proofing Cart in the very near future but I don't have a specific launch time right now.
Let us know if you need further assistance!

OK, I got that far. When I type any text in there. It doesnt show up on my site. It is just a blank square. When you say "instructional text" does this mean html? I have no clue how to do that. I hope you can give me simple 1-2-3 instructions, cause I am absolutely lost.

I think the best plan of action from here is to request a phone call from support and our Tech guy can walk you through this setup as well as answer any other questions you might have about your CMD website.
Please email support@creativemotiondesign.com , leave your number and the best time to reach you tomorrow. One phone consultation will clear up all your questions! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
