Creativity Exercise #5: Focus on focus

Thanks to GordonMcGregor for submitting this idea.

In this exercise, you'll be challenged to use focus creatively. The idea is to use selective focus with a shallow DOF or no focus at all. Something you can try is defocusing everything...that's right a whole frame of bokeh (shudder). Go crazy, most of us shoot digital so experiment.

Rules:

1. Any photo equiptment you want to use is legal.

2. Basic photo editing only (same as in the previous exercises).

3. Each participant can post up to 3 of their favorite shots.

I broke the rules and used a circular blur on this image but if it makes any difference, I took the image knowing that's how it would be edited.

Not as good as Jezebel's but my take on her idea:
