Creativity Exercise #21: Everyday Filters

Well guys, I'm finally back in town and ready to be an active member of the forum again. Sorry I missed posting one of these last month, but I got a go one for you today.

Everyday filters...so what do I mean? I want you to try uses everyday object as an impromptu lens filter. I want you to shoot through stuff like shear fabric or stained glass. Let your imagination run with this one. This is a very simple exercise, so no reason not to try it out.

Happy shooting.

**Normally I request only basic photo editing, but this time you can do whatever editing you want.

**Each participant can post as many shots as they like, but try not to go crazy.

Next Exercise: 03-01-2007

I didn't get a whole lot of pics that I liked, but I did have a ton of fun finding random stuff to shoot through! The first pic was taken through a large fan brush (the kind you use for oil or watercolor painting). The second one was taken through a bit of lace on the bottom of a curtain.

I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by,
and then it petered out and I had to retrace my steps and wasted half a day.
