Texas Renaissance Festival : Take 2 - 10-17-2005, 07:16 AM

That's the same theme and weekend i went with Srini, I finanlly got it up and have time for posting. ( Went to bed at 6pm and wake up at 3am, that's what you got for photoG, sleeping disorder )

We splited during the 1 1/2 days events, hoping we all don't get the same shots...nevertheless....

Anyway, Shoot with 20D, 85 1.8, 135 f2, 85 1.2L(courtesy of Srini) without flash. Prime Power!! I post a few and the rest are here, CC always welcome

#1

#2 , I had one shot with this guy, he is a character. That's the only pic i been worrying the whole trip if it came out alright. I wish i have done better with framing and stepping up f5 for more detail.

#3, Late evening golden light on his face...

#4, she sells more beer than any store, busy gal..., took me ~25 minutes to get one shot.

#5, my top hit in the gallery, candid..what can i say

#6

#7, Minutes before we got off the gate, 85mm at f2 at iso 1600 without reducing noise..Clean eh?

#8, i was able to do "one shot" AF while they were dancing in a circle. I luv my 135f2.

Simply outstanding.

#5 is simply beautiful. Right behind would be #2. I would crop that one to an 8x10 and lose some of the black above him, but other than that, well done! I like your style.

I know I shouldn't ask, but in number #4, what's the...umm...pink thing?

One of them breast cancer Sutter Home for Hope campaign?? Well, 135mm with 1.6 crop could be quite a distance, i backed few steps so to get the wholesome.... i was this close to ask her take off da pink thingie off her u-know-what. That would be rude was it? LOL.

Thanks again for the comments, and scott,u're right... 8x10 would definately fix the old man problem. I left too much space on top.
