Boring? Yeah right!
Is that second one taken at a highway rest stop? If that's a little picnic pavilion it kind of looks like a T-rex without a head.

Behind me there are about 20 big rigs who parked for the night. I was kicking myself for not bringing a flash to light up the front of the thing but as it was I raced out of the house without an umbrella either so when the rain started, I stopped.
I've got a heckofa idea for the next storm we have...
Thanks all for the kind comments!

I think the best thing about the Lightning Trigger is that it allows me to not worry about timing the lightning so I can think of other ways to make the shot a little more interesting.
I'd love to go storm chasing for a few weeks and really give it a workout!

Anything you post is hardly boring. I especially like the composition of the first shot - the lighting is perfectly framed in the space between the trees, and counterpoints the lit house beautifully.

I have a shot pulled back that shows the moon glowing in the sky while a touch of lightning hits. I just couldn't make it work the way I wanted though...
