I'm thinking about taking my girls and camera to the aquarium tomorrow. Anyone have any experience there. Is it worth taking the camera or not? Any input would be appreciated.

Yes it is a good place to take the camera.
They do not allow tripods though it gets crowded at times.
During the week is the best time to go the weekends really get mad

I took this shot there using an ISO 400:

I went to the Dallas World Aquarium instead of the Dallas Aquarium. I didn't want to mess with the fair. Hard to get any good pics with two little ones running around.

The Dallas World Aquarium is the one I was referring to
I always forget about the one at the fairgrounds. I was not that impressed with it.

The Dallas World Aquarium is an excellent location. I have been a number of times and have shot with a tripod - mostly it seems to depend on traffic, unless of course they have recently changed or started enforcing the rules.

BTW, they have one of my images hanging in there - 24x36 of an ornate hawk-eagle. Look for it...
