Discover India: Take 2 - 10-18-2005, 11:44 PM

Well, it is certainly tough to post after the master Daniel(ZeroEndless) has displayed his pictures, here are a few from the day nevertheless.
The festival was real colorful and it was amazing to see the young children perform. Some of them waiting for hours to do their dance/performance.
The dances were from different parts of India, India has around 28 states, each state is like a minor country really, because they have their own language and culture, including written script. India has around 18 major languages and a 1000 minor variations of them.
All the pictures are here, http://www.pbase.com/rrs/discoverindia2005
Thanks for looking, comments and critique very much welcome... Srini RR

keep talking bro, i'll tell ya wife about the 'N' body you just buried in the backyard...

#2, I didn't get her right, fill flash did help huh?

#5 is my favorites, I shot quite a few as well (dont' ask, it's the foot fetish thingie that i have ) but none came out as sexy as this

135mm on 1.3 crop is definately gain more working space on events like this, full frame would be perfect. Thanks again for the head-up, If 'crowcollection' use my picture, i will talk to them about putting cover on the stage next year.

I love the colors. Great shots.
I did not have a foot fetish until I saw that pic. Nice.

I like #1 - nice depth of field and great inclusion of the sign. Could see this on flyers for next year's event.

Love love love the foot shot. And I don't have a foot fetish, just like the details like that.
