Meetup: Clark Gardens, Mineral Wells, Sometime in July

Well, I hope I am doing this right. I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a meet up at Clark Gardens next month? I've been wanting to go out there.

When is a good time to do this?

They open at 7:30am M-Sat. I would think that you would want to be there when they open. July sun is pretty intense.

I know they are having Sunset times out there, they are doing stuff on Father's day this month.
I'll have to find the paper I saw it in again and see what exactly is going on.
Anyone want to go there next month?

Judy and I just became members Friday. We plan to go a lot. Its a great place! All of the Garden staff are extremely friendly and amiable people. We met Mr. (Max) Clark Friday, and chatted with him for about ten minutes, and met his Lab 'Chocolate'. He and Chocolate were working in the gardens. We also met 2 of his Daughters. Daughter, Carol is the Gardens Manager. Mrs Clark (Billie), sadly, is a victim of Alzheimer's and is institutionalized.
They are all wonderful people, and VERY CAMERA FRIENDLY. Tripods? No Problem!!!

The Clark Gardens are beautiful. I went out there last Summer with the Dallas Photography Group. I keep trying to get a portrait session out there, but no one wants to drive that far...

Tom, that would be great! A Saturday or Sunday evening would work best for me, but I can do it on a week day if necessary.
Would any of these dates work for anybody?

They close atm-sat 6:00pm and 5:00pm on Sunday

18 and 19th I have a wedding and then teach a class.
11th and 12th are open as of this minute.

Would they keep it open especially for us ? Wouldn't hurt to ask.

We did a weddng out there last year, it's a really nice place.
