That was me. I was hoping the storm would hold off as I drove to Arlington from Dallas. It hit full force while I was sitting in traffic on 161 & 183. It was pretty ugly, but blew through pretty quick.
You're right, it was about $3,500 worth of stuff. He had Manfrotto boom type light stands. Most of the equipment looks like it was barely used. The counterweight bags had never been used. He also had wheel sets for all the light stands that hadn't even been out of the box. That's why I braved the storm because I knew they wouldn't be there long. I guess if I had waited, you'd be telling me your story.
It's more than I need, but now I have it, I'll figure out how to use it. That's the only real deal I've seen on Craigslist. Most of the stuff is about $5 off list. I guess it's smarter to be lucky than it's lucky to be smart.
