Need some locations for cars! - 06-26-2009, 07:58 PM

We have a friend that has a beautiful classic corvette and then another car I can't remember the name of - he wants photos of the cars. Does anyone know of any places that would be nice for shooting them? Thanks for taking the time to read in advance!

There's Cars & Coffee:

Cars and Coffee will be held in the DFW area on the last Saturday of every month from 8am-12noon at Classic BMW in Plano, Texas in the northwest corner of the parking lot. Please plan to join hundreds of proud drivers from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and beyond to congregate with like-minded aficionados and novices alike to share thoughts on a common passion. All types of cars are welcome to attend and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

My driveway!

Depends on the feel you want. There are old town squares not that far from DFW, or there is industrial and urban areas. Farms. Classic diners. Fields with cows in them. Once you pick the backdrop, pick the right time (sunset is nice) and fire away!

Guess I'm gonna have to do some driving around! That red car turns out to be a Prowler and is up for sale. So, I'm gonna be taking lots of pics of it inside and out.

Though I've only seen it once, what about that big fountain over at the shops at Legacy?

Would probably have to be during a weekday, as it gets somewhat crowded over the weekend. Good place for candid shots though.

I ride a blurple Boulevard M50. I'm still learning so the bike seems like a good subject as I can just get out and ride & stop anywhere to get different pics.

My avatar is actually part of my new helmet...I wear either a Shoei RF1000 or my new Icon Alliance "Dia de los Muertos".

I did a few shots with my car club. I did some shoots in front of the new cowboys stadium, down in deep elm, Downtown Grapevine, and the airplane museum out at mecham(sp?) airport in Fort Worth.
