That is absolutely hillarious, and so very true. I didnt even realize the way i was wording that, and how goofy i sounded! Hey, 27 is the new 65, you know!
Nofx and Bad Religion have played Warped Tours off and on since the early days. Nofx actually just released an album this year, so im guessing thats why they were at more than just a few select cities this year.
Its real hard to explain what im trying to get at here, and most people wont understand because they werent around for the opening years of Warped. They know only of the current warped tour, full of radio bands and MTV hits. I used to look forward to Warped all year, because it was the one time that you could see all of these great punk bands that didnt usually get around the USA very often.
I've gone a time or two since 2001 just because there would be one or two bands that i wanted to see that dont get around much. I just wish it would have stuck to its roots and not commercialized everything. But hey, everything revolves around money. And I cant say i blame them. Im sure they are bringing in tons more than they would if the filled the day with skate punk bands that a lot of the public has never even heard of.
Im done trying to explain, just dont want to hijack the thread.
Great images by the way. You got some really cool angles!
