Los Colinas
Standing here looking south
12mm | iso 100 | 30 s | f8

SB 75 from the Southwestern Blvd bridge. 24mm | iso 100 | 10 s | f14

For following I wedged the tripod behind the front seats with settings of 24mm | iso 100 | 3.2 s | f11

Forgot the GPS so don't know where this was taken. This was the only "turning" shot the worked. The camera moved during the others. Need to come up with to tie down the tripod.

Passing train at Market & Pearl

SB on Lower Greenville at the Granada

LBJ, This one isn't as interesting because it doesn't have the wall of light.

Shot with a 30D and edited with DPP & PS. Next time I'll try to get the rear view mirror out of the shot.

Awesome, fun shots.

Am I reading it wrong, or does your car have more than 157,000 miles on it?

Hit bumps on all the moving ones and the cars I was following hit bumps. Didn't realize how bumpy it was out there.

Yes, not bad for an '02 Civic purchased in 10/02. When they start charging us by the mile to drive, I'm cooked.

I'd say the Civic is barely broken in at this point. You should really start driving it, Andrew.

The one you don't like the most (last pic), I love! Do you have a 1920x1200 one of those so I can make it my wallpaper? :D

Do you think some bungees would stabilize the tripod enough?

Think I might try to do the same thing you've done.

I really like the concept and the results.

If you wish to size it yourself this is the original file 1800x1200x300dpi

Had some tie down straps but didn't come up with a good place to attach them. I'm sure there's a way to make it work. Would be a lot easier to jury rig something with a 4 door car. This style of tripod would also make things easier. Changing settings by feel with the camera positioned next to one's ear is interesting.

Don't you have a hands-free device for your tripod? I thought talking and texting on the cell phone was distracting.

Never thought to put my camera on a tripod IN my car as I drive. Nice! Will have to try this approach.
