Overnight in Dallas - 08-20-2009, 03:10 PM

Hi all! I'm going to be in Dallas for one night only. I've searched the threads, but I can't find any SPECIFIC information for an out of towner like what is the BEST place to get the skyline and where do I park for that?

I was thinking skyline at sunset.
Where's a good night spot (in a semi-safe environment; it's just me)?
Where's a good sunrise spot?

Going to be staying in Addison if that matters at all for ideas.

Was considering White Lake Rock in the am. Good or bad idea?

THANKS Ya'll!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE Dallas, only been there once and that was FW. Really excited to see more!

I would've helped you out but you just sullied Fort Worth by saying it was in Dallas.

There's a relatively safe road (don't really know which one) leading into downtown D where I took some engagement shots. Very little traffic, so we even parked right on the road. Bad thing was the groom-to-be was so uptight and worried that someone would plow into his car that his expressions were horrible. Scenery was awesome (sunset with skyline behind them).

Riddler- Thank you! That's perfect.

Toverman - I am unaware of any major differences between D and FW. No insults intended!! :) :)
