Coffee group

First, can I put this here? I'm starting a mid morning coffee group for local photogs so we can just bs and talk about marketing and anything else that comes up with our business. It will be a time to share ideas and just do the camaraderie thing. We will probably ...meet once a month, unless people decide they want to do it more often. I know everyone's schedule is busy. Since a lot of us have kids, I think mid morning would be best. Let me know your thoughts and if you are interested. Since it's pretty localized, we will be doing it in McKinney at one of the coffee houses.

For this month, we've decided we are meeting at Starbucks on Virginia Parkway in McKinney at 11am next Tuesday, Sept. 1. Hope you can make it!

I might come by once in a while after it gets established. Mckinney is a haul as you know.

Sorry Debbi! It's easier to schedule weekday stuff then weekend stuff b/c of weddings. Hopefully, we will have another nighttime gtg soon.

Lol, where is Keller?? Actually, this is a very localized one; so, they will all be in McKinney. There is the possibility of a big gtg on the 19th of Sept., I think, but not sure about that yet. It will be a nighttime one on the weekend.

Count me in! I also want to suggest a coffee house that I LOVE LOVE LOVE (even though I am not a coffee drinker they have other stuff as well).

Leslie - I think this is a great idea and even though it's a pretty good drive for me - I'm still gonna try to make it out to a few of these - I think it's a fab idea!

A cool place that comes to mind is the Book Carriage and Coffee Shop in Roanoke. They have good coffee, space to relax and hang out and sometimes some live background music. The music artist might even make for good photo subject if they're up for it.
