I know Jakestr, and that is not the best image I've seen of him. I hate to dis your shot, but it would have been better with a little High Key lighting, and perhaps more of a three quarter turn away from the camera.
But, alas, I know how hard it is to get him to sit still long enough to get a decent shot of him.
The only really good one is the 30X40 I have that is on my living room wall...... One of the great shots we got at Scott's lighting class, when Jake turned out to be the model.

Sorry, got the wrong image file I guess ya'll can see why I got the Two confused.

Had a great day shooting with the Herd, I will be anxious to see Jake's shots with his new camera.
