Wow! I agree, some of the best shots you've posted to date. Just beautiful! I'm glad that 20D found a good home, these are some of the best shots of the lions I've seen. That first one is amazing.

I feel the OOF green leaves provide a great frame for the lion.

The first and last are great. The leaves do a great job of framing. I enjoy the interaction in the other two photos as well. I can't wait to hit the zoo when I'm up there later this month.

Very nice Jake. Don't worry too much about cropping, the high pixel density on the 20d really helps in that regard.

TIP: If you want to pull out even more detail, try Photozoom Pro. There's a free trial out there. Trust me. :)
