Gaylord Texan shots - 10-30-2005, 09:56 PM

Well I finally got to go and spend my 2 days there. Wish it could have been more. That place is completely phenomenal and to be honest most pictures just don't do it justice because of the sheer size of it all. (Yeah, everything is BIG in Texas!)
Anyway our room was on the 9th floor overlooking the atrium so while these pictures are not necessarily artisticly correct, they do show the inside of the hotel.

This was the view from our balcony directly in front of us.

One of the many indoor waterfalls.

An indoor pond with sitting area.

There will be an awesome event there from November 17- Jan? called ICE. Maybe we could get a group together and go.

Information about ICE can be found here.

Thanks for the heads up, this looks like a great photo op. I'll be going for sure.

Nice shots of the Gaylord!

Nice pictures. I went last year at Christmas and it was a ZOO. I suggest if you want to go to take pictures, go during a non-peak time.
