Here's the place to post your interests in a coffee/lunch group for the West side of the metroplex. So far the thoughts have been as follows:

When: 2nd Thursday of each month- first meet-up would be Sept. 10th

Where: Keller Starbucks

Time: 11:30 am

If it's Keller, I'm definitely in for next Thursday (I work at Town Hall down the street from the Starbucks). If it's in Grapevine, I'm definitely interested but won't know for sure. Would be cool if the meetup would migrate into lunch if it's in Grapevine or I'll be hungry on the drive back to Keller!

Somehow Grapevine still feels east to me.
I understand the turnout would probably be greater in that area though.
The way my days fluctuate I probably couldn't make it anyway.

I'm in! Looking forward to it. Isn't there a bigger Starbucks with an outdoor patio at Keller-Smithfield? Maybe I am thinking of another one... but I could have sworn it was over there. Any suggestions for meeting places?

I'm in for sure in Keller :) I work there. Grapevine, I may be able to pull a long lunch, but it is *iffy*.

I think it must be during the week, during the day in order for most photogs to be able to come out - as most of us are booked on the weekends between weddings, portraits & other shoots.

I was thinking more like 7:00 pm on a weeknight, Don't listen to me, I'm just a n00b, I just wondered if I was the only that said "Damn, Tuesday, in the middle of the day? I would have liked to go to that"......Guess I need to take a paid day off :-)

In theory that sounds like a great idea too, but I know weeknights count me out as I am transition into the household taxi-driver, off to soccer, swimming- etc. But hey - maybe there will be enough interest to start an evening meet-up too!

Yeah... nights are tough for me too. Hubby is a restaurant GM, so usually I am one homework duty, bathtime and bed duty.
