I am going to ride and Photo Walk the new DART Green Line on Tuesday, Sept 15. Anybody want to join me? It will cost you a $4 DART Local Day Pass.
I am going to start at MLK Station when the 10:00am train arrives from downtown. I will photograph around the station area for 20-30 minutes, catch the next train Northbound to the next station and then photograph around there for 20 minutes, and so on until I reach the end of the line. This will take until 1:30 to complete the trip IF we stop at every station. Of course you can stop at anytime and hop the train to be on your way. Near the end we may stop and eat somewhere, it will depend on what everyone wants to do.
I will be on the 9:00am Southbound Red Line Train from Parker Station to make the connections at Pearl St. Station. The Green Line Southbound Train will leave Pearl St. Station at 9:40am. It arrives at MLK Station at 10:00am. Join me there or anywhere along the line.
The temperature is predicted to be in the mid 80s which should be perfect. I am going to be carrying a light equipment load to be as mobile as possible. Only one camera and a couple of lenses.
Lets do it!

Wish I had time this week. The stop by Baylor is close to me. I look forward to checking it out sometime - just not this week. | | | |

I had a blast on our little DART PhotoRideWalk. It was nice to meet James and Larry. I think we had a lot of fun. I am a little behind on posting my images but I will get to it tomorrow and see if I can get some of my favorites posted. In the meantime here is a little video of Big Tex Bobble-head making the same trip: http://www.dallasnews.com/video/dall...d=399072&shu=1
