Hey there,
I'm looking for ideas for a couple that I have coming up in a couple weeks. They are in their 40s, nice looking and love Jazz and artsy type stuff. I haven't shot portraits in Dallas cause so far my clientele won't go that far, but that seems to probably be a better location that Ft. Worth for that look and they are willing to go there.
Can you guys give me some ideas of some places that may work for them? I know there is the graffiti and stuff down there that can work, but I am wanting something more cultural I think than urban.

I know this isn't Dallas, but what about the Museum District in FTW, or down by Bass Hall?

I know there aren't any fees outside for the museum district. I've done bridals at most of the locations off of 7th St. with no problems.

Denton is like a smaller, slightly less hip version of Austin. The place is steeped in jazz, though, with help from UNT's long history of producing excellent jazz musicians and music.

Deep Ellum is always a good spot. Lots of cool, urban spots. If you go on a Saturday or Sunday early morning, the only people there are those getting breakfast and the other photographers. :-)

Hmm House of Blues sounds interesting. My husband has been out there a few times but I haven't. This couple is willing to drive to ft. worth, but they live in Allen. I think I should take advantage of getting to shoot in dallas for once! | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
