Yes it is a 5D, and lens is what you think, and the tripod is Gitzo, and the head is perfect..... other than that, nothing special...

It's a Wemberly arm on a Really Right Stuff Head perched upon a Gitzo CF tripod.

If you have to ask, you can't afford it.

Don't be tempting me I'm trying hard enough to justify a new 70-200mm.
In fact I'm trying to figure out how to get near "L" glass with out the "L" and $$$$. That's a sweet set up though and I'm happy for who I think it belongs to!

Here is the breakdown on the head and tripod.

Head: RRS BH-40 LR with a Wimberley Sidekick

Tripod: Gitzo 1227 CF.

It is a very lightweight setup that handles the 5D and 300 f/2.8L IS + 1.4x TC very well.

Okay...that's not as bad as I thought.

Head: RRS BH-40 LR $375

Wimberley Sidekick $250

I do have a more expensive setup than this one if you like.

I was mainly trying to see how this lightweight setup would handle a lens the size of the 300. Now I know it will handle anything below that with ease.
