State Fair on Friday Oct. 2nd ?

I'm contemplating taking the TRE from FW to the State Fair tomorrow.

Leave FW about 10:30 and return about 5 or 6.

round trip is only $7.50

Cool way to go. I may photograph you while you are traveling. Get off at the Fair Park Station, don't go down to the MLK station.

Update:

Took the train to the Fair.
Took the train home from the Fair.


Hints-
get on in Ft. Worth and not any stations along the way if you want to sit.
Have the correct amount of singles ready at the ticket machine. It wouldn't take $20 or $10 bills and I had to beg for change from others.

That's it. easy , cheap, convenient, on time. I give it an 8 out of 10.

I went on Wednesday, and parked at the American Airlines Center, took the Green Line (DART Light Rail) to Fair Park. Round trip was $4. Very clean, quiet, smooth ride. Better than parking at the Fair ($10) and not knowing if your car will be there when you are ready to leave! Took 15 mins. from AAC to Fair Park, and it lets you off at the front gate. I was pleasantly surprised.
