Dallas, group meetup - night shooting - Nov 21st

Ok, the other thread is getting confusing with so many pages and people saying they wanted to come out.

Saturday, Nov 21st

I am gunning for a sunset shot at this location. Will be there from 4:00 to dark. (6:30ish)

This is Trammell Crow Lake, at Trinity Park - (Look for a Green Trooper)

Will leave from there and head to spots around downtown.



After this I was planning on a few DART locations and a few other skyline locations.

So the group would then depart from the park at around 6:30?

Thats the plan. Anyone who want to shoot the sunset can meet there around 4:30ish.

There are locations along the river I think that are a better spot, but would need to walk there.

If the gate to the dirt road that follows the river is open, we could drive onn it alongthe river. Just a thought. it was unlocked last Friday when I was there.

Ok, I'm going to make a tentative "I'll be there!" I may not make it by 4:30ish, but if not, I'm certainly open to meeting up later downtown or whatever. I'll watch this space for updates!

If the gate is open to drive on that dirt road along the Trinity, I will be on it. But will came back the same way. So be looking for a Green Trooper.

I am planning on being there. I know it will probably be close to 6:00 or so before I can get there. I will keep you posted if I am coming.

I plan to pull in to the location above around 5:30 in a yellow Xterra. I've got permission from the wife, but I'm leaving town on Sunday, so I'll have to remain as tentative. In other words, don't wait up.

I love the skyline! I would love to eventually attend a g2g, times have been very hard for my family lately otherwise I would have come!

I had somewhere to go Saturday evening. However my wife and I where over in Dallas saturday afternoon and I got a few photos I wanted to share.

I'm just going to give up on saying I'm going to be there. I think that's what's jinxing me! Maybe, if I quit saying it out loud, I'll actually make it.
