Local Zoo - Dallas or Ft. Worth?

I'm going to see the Cowboys Play on Thanksgiving day on Friday I wanted to hit one of the Zoos there before heading back to SA. Right now which two are the better of the bunch? Ft. Worth or Dallas? I'm wanting to get more monkeys and big cats. I would prefer non-caged shots.

Fort Worth is better I got great shots there.

I'm prejudiced, but the Ft. Worth zoo is way better for photography than Dallas.
Expect big crowds on Friday if the weather is nice.

FTW Zoo no question. The Dallas Zoo is shameful and a waste of money.

I'm looking forward to take the 7D for it's second test run. Hopefully I can get some of the Gorilla which is a picture I don't have. Thank you guys! I'm kind of excited "over a zoo visit!" :)

Definitely the FTW Zoo. Make sure that any lens you bring to the game is no longer than 3 inches. They do measure and they will make you take it back to your car if it's too long.

Is that a new rule?

It's been a year or so, but every time I go, I see someone with 300mm lens. Last year, a bunch of us from TPF went, and we all had "big" glass. I sure hope the FTW Zoo didn't screw everything up for us photographers.

Not at the Zoo - at the Cowboy's Stadium and it is a new rule there.

I'm jsut taking my G2 to the game tomorrow. I don't want to deal with a larger camera. Besides I'm lacking in skills to hold a beer in one hand and a camera in another. :)
