Anybody going to shoot the Adolphus Childrens Parade on 12-5?

Capital One Bank Adolphus Children's Parade
The best photo locations are either being there early and shooting pre-parade scenes or trying to get a spot at the Adolphus (with everybody else) or over by City Hall with it in the background as they pass by.

Parade starts at 10 am and I believe the early line up starts at around 8:30 or so (the balloon handlers may be a bit earlier).

Still not sure if I willl try to shoot it this year or not.

Didn't know about it...but now that you mention it, I might drop by. I will however be doing the Snowball Express (Home). I'll be escorting one of the buses on the motorcycle, all the way to Cowboys Stadium. Hopefully get some good pics of the event there, & Lt. Dan Band will be playing as well.

I'll be there, wearing a blue stocking hat and shooting two Canons. I'll be in the Commerce & Austin area during the parade and wandering around the balloon blowup/parade line area prior to the parade.

They interviewed the art car maker during the parade and he actually has some of those cameras working. Also the flashes along the top work!
