I have no idea what HH is, but I know it is on the south side, taking up 4 blocks at Alma and Cockrell. Here's a link: http://forum.dallasmetropolis.com/showthread.php?t=6749. I was just hoping if someone had shot there recently or lives near there, they could let me know if it's still there.

HH would be Harry Hines, I'm sure.

Yes, Harry Hines, but I am thinking of something else.

Little Eygpt maybe, I dunno.

I pass by there on Southbound DART every day. there is a building that has one corner that looks like a Mosque and some parts that look like shell damage repaired. Dont know if you could truly call it "little Baghdad" but some of the buildings are still there..

Wow, I've lived in Dallas almost all my life and I've never heard of there being any area called Little Bagdad or Little Egypt in town.

Lisa, this was built fairly recently to film the television movie about Jessica Lynch (I think that was her name, it's been awhile); so, it's not something you would necessarily know about. It's not like an area like China town or anything where they serve ethnic food and such.
