Cemetery Statuary - 12-15-2009, 01:39 PM

I recently spent a few hours at Calvary Hill cemetery looking for statues. The newer stuff just does not have the same level of details that the older statues present. I do my best to not include names, and really try to blurr out any headstones in respect for those there and their families.
C&C is always welcome.

Thanks for looking.

Great photos! I shoot mostly urban decay these days and have been planning to make a late evening trip to the big, old cemetery here in Arlington sometime soon.

Great pictures don't just happen; they are made with care.

Yeah after this last trip I do plan on going back as I ran out of light and there were several shots I wanted to get but couldn't. I discovered that I really like this kind of work and will be planning to find more old cemeteries with statues in the DFW area to shoot. Thanks for the heads up on the arlington one.

I'll see what I can find via the internet for arlington, I just heard about another one close to downtown Dallas that I will try and find first. Guess I should start a list.... lol
