Did anyone get to go to the show? I was swamped all weekend and didn't get to make it. I would be interested to hear what you thought.

Went to the show Saturday afternoon. Fewer stalls/booths than last year. Understand that some Oklahama folks who intended putting up tables could not come because of the weather.

I was happy that I was able to sell a not much used by me, Mamiya RB-67 with 2 lenses at a price reasonably close to what I had bought it. Thanks for the heads-up, Wil.

Of course that was after I went through a few folks who took a lot of trouble to tell me why they could pay me little or nothing for it. Guess they are in business to make the money and I dont grudge them for that. Taught me a lot of what to look for when one buys used stuff to have less trouble when selling it.

I also went to the show and found that there was an abundance of used cameras - primarily film. As a digital shooter I did not find a lot that tripped my trigger, but I enjoyed it nevertheless.

I went on Sat morning and managed to get a good price on a minty Nikon 35-70 2.8 and finally upgraded to a much better tripod. All in all, not a bad show.

John and I went on Saturday. We picked up a carbon fiber tripod with a wimberly head, flash bracket, and mount bracket. Retail: $1400. Camera Show Price: $500.

It is fir our prime 600mm lens.

You just have to know I'd it os a good deal or not. Sounds like everyone had a great time.
