KEH.com, is heading to Grapevine Texas to attend the Grapevine Camera Show. This is a two day event, Saturday Jan 30th and Sunday Jan 31st, 2010, at the Grapevine Convention Center. Show time is from 10:00am - 5:00pm on Saturday and 10:00am - 3:00pm on Sunday. Admission is only $5.00.

Just happened to find out about this today.

I'll be there on Saturday around 10 in the morning.

A friend of mine is bring a ton of Mamiya MF stuff to try and sell, plus some Novatron lighting. He's been hanging on to this stuff for years and no longer does any photography.. told him about it and he's in for tomorrow.

I visited the show this AM (Saturday). There are quite a few vendors there but other than KEH they do not have names prominently displayed. Most seem eager to buy IF they think that they can make some profit on what you are selling.

On the sell side, there is a lot of 35mm film equipment (cameras and lenses), and some digital. There is also some MF and large format equipment.

I bought 9 lenses for my MFT gear, Minolta and Canon. Spent right at $120.. the legacy stuff is pretty cheap and upon closer examination at home, found to be in very good shape.

Going back tomorrow to see how some of the prices drop on the final day of the show. Couple of items I wanted but price was too high... you know how they hate to bring that stuff back home so expect prices to fall a bit.
