Wow, sounds like fun. I think I'll drag the fam out.

Word of caution though:

Teen hysteria closed an entire shopping mall IRRC about a week ago when they rushed the stage at B5 performance. Hopefully Dallas people have a little better heads on their shoulders.

I'll be out there. The picture was a test shot that I took while waiting for them to light the tree. I wait for 2 hours in one spot not a single drop of rain. They said 6:30 to light the tree. That came and went. 7 came and went and no lights. 7:15 it starts to rain so I had to pack up. They light the tree at 7:20. I am going to get the shot this time.

I will probably be there with "Bullsparade" and both our wives . . . he is coming up this weekend from Beaumont for Scott's lighting class and we will probably venture over to Plano for the festivities!

Should we bring an umbrella and chant, "tut tut, looks like rain, tut tut, looks like rain?"

I saw you there. - 11-16-2005, 10:23 AM

I saw you out there last year. I was wondering around with my wife and camera before the rain hit. We can only hope for a better opportunity this year.

Come by and say hi. I probably won't be walking around to much and just waiting for the lights to come on.

Hey Mark, want some company out there? My fiance has a wedding to do, so I think I'll be available.

I'm thinking of dragging my husband out there...maybe without a camera. I love Christmas. It's a long drive, but I LOVE Christmas.

Well, lets see the results. It was a little windy so the tress moving caused a little blur on those long exposures, but all & all it went well. I saw lots of nice cameras out there so I bet it was some of the members from here. Here is one of my shots:
