I would agree with Tom. Arlington Camera has a great selection of bags and is where I picked up my Tenba.

Hello neighbor. I'm from Sachse just down the road a piece. I'm going to break from the crowd and say try Competitive Cameras in downtown Dallas. I go there a lot. Some here don't like 'em buy hey, their loss.

Competitive Cameras - Serving the Dallas, Plano, Arlington, & Ft. Worth Texas Area Metroplex

I hold no ill feelings towards Arlington Camera. They are a great bunch of people I'm sure.

Glen:

Competitive is just fine but they just don't have the same size of selection when it comes to camera bags.

I've never been to Arlington Camera, but Competitive Cameras has a large enough selection to make a choice.

I have purchased a Tenba and a LowePro at Arlington Camera as well. Large selection and helpful people!

Since you are coming from Wylie I would suggest stopping at Camera Stop in Plano also. They have a fair selection of good quality bags to look at.

There is no argument from me Arlington Camera has the biggest selection of different type and sizes of bags.

I've looked for bags at Arlington Camera before but never found one I wanted, probably because there were too many choices. While all my bags are black Lowepros, I suggest buying the rattiest looking Hello Kitty backpack from Target and hiding some foam inserts in it for your gear. Go stealth!

My bags have all been bought online from B&H. Its selection is even better, but you have to feel comfortable reading descriptions, reviews and such without ever touching one. I contacted customer service one time to see if my laptop would fit in the sleeve of a bag (said 12-inch and mines 13). About two minutes later, they confirmed that it would.

EDIT: I went to high school in Wylie, and man has it changed since then. It's almost time for that place to have a camera store (almost).

No retail store (except for B&H in NYC) is going to be able to compete with B&H's online selection. I did have a hard time sifting through AC's extensive bag collection as well.
