Thumbs up Foggy Day In Dallas (HDR) - 02-14-2010, 08:55 PM

This thread is sort of a continuation of this thread:
http://www.texasphotoforum.com/forum...an-2010-a.html

Saturday, I got up early, drove down to Dallas and picked up my flickr friend Todd Landry, and headed to the Turtle Creek area for the sunrise. We ventured all over that area, downtown, Deep Ellum, South Dallas, and Oak Cliff. Here are the images from that outing.

I hope you enjoy. Please keep in mind that these images are HDR images and they were processed to "my liking" and that is just the way I liked to see them.

Wil, #2, and the church in B&W? I bet they would look awesome.

That's a beautiful series, Wil......and that Reunion Tower shot is probably the best photo I've ever seen of that iconic structure.

I am not usually a fan of this type of processing but for me it works very well here, especially since it is integral to the series. Well done!

Murph: Yes, I've been trying to find a good B&W look for a few of these... haven't found it yet. I'll keep trying though. Thanks!

Jeff: Thank you sir! That image, BTW, was taken from the top of the old Reunion Arena parking garage. Anyone can just drive in there and do as you please.

Pete: It's a work in progess (the HDR stuff) and I as I am quite new to it, I'm sure my HDR tastes will change over the next few months. I'm still pushing the boundaries at the moment but I find myself backing off the throttle already. Thank you!

Thanks Chris! There's really not much to HDR. Just a little bit o' bracketing and a pinch of HDR software. It's that easy!
