would be profitable to get there early before gates open if you want shots of static planes and no people in the way, there will be something in the air be it a t-6 or an f-18 etc. worth your time
last time i was there i got a shot of Mcgruff the crime dog. woof

I wonder if they will have the f35 fly? I will have to check with my husband, I will see what else he can find out for me.

They limit food because of concessionaire considerations. I've seen diaper bags big enough to carry all my gear and two chairs in !

From experience, the show will have lots of ground displays, the usual small aircraft acts, and some military fly bys. They usually have a ground fire demonstration with lots of fire, explosions, etc. It's well worth the cost (free) although you MAY have to pay for parking, but I'll be surprised.

Lockheed will have an F16 flight airshow. Likely be an F35 on display, and some big aircraft flow overs.
Tom:
I have checked the web site, it doesn't say no large camera bag is not allowed. Do they enforce this at the gate? Also, F16/F35 show is not listed there as well. I know you are close to this business, do you have more information? Thanks!

Wei

The bag policy is SOP for all air shows on government facilities. I've run into it at serveral air shows lately. I'm with Capt Tom, it doesn't seem fair, but arguing with an armed guard probably won't help.

Can anyone define the term "large camera bag"? It seems rather subjective.

I had no problems carrying my large camera bag in, security simply asked me to open the bag for inspection and that was it.
