Murph,

One of the great places to shoot and often overlooked, is Fair Park.

It is not the best side of town. But there is a ton of stuff to shoot.

Don't tell the locals.

go to the grassy knoll, behind it you will see a fence proceed to the back of it for much grafitty then head west to train track stopping on the way to see drain that was possible escape route of sniper then at tracks you will see pedestrian bridge crossing street
you can get some great shots off assasination area and iif you do a 180 there is
possibility of seeing care flight land at Methodist hosp. in the distance
also closeup of light rail as it passes

I don't know of anything to shoot at the RSN !! What IS the RSN?

Since the women of Dallas are much better looking than those in San Antonio I'd recommend some strip clubs and a couple of model shoots from MM.

For aircraft spotting go to Bachman lake and park near water plant, this time of year overhead approaches are available with at least a 200 mm setup also Grand Prairie airport is very user friendly and has descent action on weekends.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe a foot trip around White Rock lake for waterfoul and small boats.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Texas Stadium is soon to be imploded but they want 25 bucks to park, I'm thinking a far off shot might foot the bill for me
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Crow park off of Syvain ave. will get a nice perspective of downtown
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ride the train to Cowtown, might see some beef critters being rounded up or whatever it is they do over there.

I shoot landscapes mostly, I will be taking the youngest daughter to The American Girl doll store in north Dallas at Galleria Dallas, 13464 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75240, where she wants to get some overly priced doll stuff. Most likely it will be a day trip unless I can convince She Who Must Be Obeyed to let us stay the night somewhere.
