A friend of my wife asked if I could take some promo shots of their blue's band, in Dallas. I do not know Dallas that well. Can anyone give me some idea's for locations? |

Deep Ellum is a given for that type shoot. Lower Greenville has some great spots as well. |

+1 on Randy's suggestions. You might also look into Fair Park. If there aren't any big events going on, it will be deserted and offer all kinds of backdrops with the old buildings, a pond, etc. |

Any specific locations there you would recommend? We are meeting around 2pm on a Saturday. I won't get a chance to check the area out until a few hours beforehand. I don't like shooting blindly so to speak, since I don't know the area, but it is what it is. |
