Like the color and DOF in the first one. Sure looks like a blue bird day. That's as blue a sky as I've ever seen. Is it that blue or did you use a filter?

No filter....on some of the pics, I did increase the saturation some so that's probably what you are seeing.

I like the first giraffe picture. Looks like he is resting his tired neck. The Tyler Zoo is great. My folks live there and we have been several times. It use to be free, but about a year ago they starting charging admission, but it is very resonible.

It is a fun zoo and it was a great weekend...halloween and lots of kids in costumes....this is the lion pic I meant to post...shows him with a very big yawn and one of the giraffe playing peek a boo...............

Just as a footnote to this...We got a Golden Retreiver from the wife of the curator of the Tyler Zoo 4 years ago. She is breeding for healthy (i.e.: no hip dysplasia) and CALM Goldens. It is cool that her husband works there (graduate of A&M, of course). It gave her a lot of credibility.

My avatar has that Golden in it. His name is Lukas.

I like that zoo. You have some good captures. I like the giraffe pics too. Do you have any pics of the bird avairy they put in last? I have not been since they put that in.
