Wow.. amazging pictures...I have never been there....But your pics tempt me to........

As I am not familiar with them at all, may I ask, how did you get so close? Need any special ticket/permit/pass?

Hi Karena. General admission ($5.00) is all you need to get in. The track is very accessible. It is 90 feet wide, and you can stand right up against the fence, which allows you get some very good pictures as the horses pass by. For the first two shots, I used my 80-200, and for the racing shots I used a 300mm lens. The actual racing shots are quite heavily cropped, however, so it looks like I was a lot closer than I really was. It's a nice track/facility, and there are some great photo ops there.

David, thanks for your info! I will definitely go to check out...it looks like they have racing every weekend till July..cool..I'll probably go at a later week...this Saturday it looks like we'll get some rainsss...=(
