This is why lightning is so dangerous. Notice all of the strikes are in the distance. Actually a lot further than it looks in these pictures. Look at slide #0004. That tree was pretty close to the camera and tripod (I’m inside using a remote to trigger the camera).

wow,great shots. i too was waiting on the storm. i'm south east of san antonio. the storm never materialized this far south.
i could see a few flashes way off in the distance,but nothing to capture. maybe tonight.
stay safe,and keep up the great work.

Very nice lightning shots. It's been years (well over a decade actually) since I've got a decent lightning shot. Hopefully there'll be a storm this Spring that coincides with some free time.
