Fort Worth Locations - 07-18-2010, 08:36 PM

Hi everyone! I have a family that needs a photo shoot in Fort Worth and I don't usually shoot there. I will have time to drive around and scout some spots out in a few days and was wondering if y'all had any location suggestions besides the Botanical Garden and the stockyards. Even a nice field with a cool fence would work. Thanks for your help!

Botanical gardens is great it's only $25 to get a permit, Over by the museums is another great place to shoot, Stockyards is always a good one but it can get crowded.

Yeah it is on a Friday evening at 7pm so I am looking for something a little off the beaten path. Not the stockyards or the botanical garden (if their even open that late).

Why don't you use google maps with street view? It is like driving down the street.

everyone east of arlington think that most of the roads in fort worth are dirt and that everyone clears the streets a 7pm. so the cows can pass by.

Cultural district. Great exteriors in the museums including reflecting pools and fossil stone walls and interesting grounds at the Amon Carter and Kimball. There is an interesting rusted metal tower and pools at the modern. Nice art deco architecture around the Will rogers center. Interesting mural at the Cowgirl museum.

Sundance Sqaure. Lots of interesting nooks and crannies in and among the old buildings and Bass Hall. Chilsolm trail mural there too.

Ditto on Water Gardens and the Trinity trail.
