Wow Kieth, that one there "______ and Wife killed by Indians" is real unususal to me at least. I can't quite make out the first name can you?

The ones I got were from where you told me to get the downtown skyline shot at Oakwood cemetery on Grand Avenue. I never visited that place till you mentioned it and I lived on Grand Avenue in my youth. Drove on up the street after we got thru just for a look see. Don't look anything like the old neighborhood. Some of it looks better and some worse but the further you get away from Grand Avenue the worse it looks. Thanks for reintroducing me to my old stomping grounds.

Was thinking about getting the Oswald stone but since you already got it, I don't need to.

Roy, bubba, listen to your wife, she has good ideas. nice shots, man! took me about 5 minutes to realize that my wife has great ideas for shots, I listen to her now.

do a google search for famous graves, famous gravesites, etc. there are a number of them around here.

The grave is that of Ned Rippy and wife. . . there were a few other headstones of victims of indian raids. I believe it's the Fondren Cemetery. . .off of Old Authon Road.

Oakwood cemetery has a few notables. . . Luke Short and Longhair Jim Courtright are buried just a few feet from each other. . (they had the famous gun battle outside of the White Elephant Saloon)

I know where New Authon road is. Guess Old Authon road should be close by. Did the house plans for the Coalsons and theirs Sons homes as well. Guess a trip is on order out that way some day.

Your right Jerry. My wife does get some good ideas but better yet, she keeps me motivated. She would not get out of the Jeep at the cemetery though.
