Camera Repair Plano/Allen area

HI -

I'm a TPF blogstalker and now new member. My Canon Rebel XSI in AV mode seems to be taking in too much light and overexposing my children's face/skin when I photograph in daylight. In Full Manual move, it is fine.

I've not had this issue in the past with AV mode. Think it could be due to my trying to photograph the sun at the beach a couple of weeks ago - is this possible?

Does anyone have a quick turnaround camera repair recommendation near/in Plano/Allen?

Check to see if you have changed the aperture settings in AV mode. You may have accidentally moved the exposure causing it to be over-exposed. This has happened to me a time or two. If you are unsure how to change it back, try resetting the camera to factory setting. This should also clear the problem.
